 Meet THE ARTIST

MY story

Growing up in Montana has given me an appreciation for the beauty that exists in all of nature. Nature is random and chaotic, but also organized and repetitive. Nature is wood grain. After studying fine art at MSU, my style evolved into multiple mediums and abstract landscapes. This lead to experimenting with large complex rorschachs and a passion for symmetry and the imagination that it provokes. In turn, this lead to a passion for drawing on book matched burl veneers, organized chaos, mother natures rorschach test. After mastering the art of veneer, I have been fortunate to work at some of the best wood shops in the state. I have been gathering knowledge and experience working with wood ever since.

CUSTOM VENEERS

Here is just a few examples of veneers to shop from. We can select veneers together from a variety of samples, or I can curate selections that align with your specific taste. If you find a veneer you love, we can furnish your entire house with a unified theme of veneer all cut from one piece of wood.

IN THE WORKS

I’m currently working on a series of wall art made from a swirly walnut burl. All of the veneer are cut from the same log, creating a cohesive theme. You essentially get to see different parts of the same tree as you progress through the series. These drawings will emphasize human figures that already exist within the wood grain.
